Take a vintage port cask from Piggs Peake Winery in the Hunter Valley and fill it with Benriach single malt Scotch. Once the whisky is bottled, leave the cask nice and wet and fill it with barley wine - and you have the Big Bold Ben from Akasha Project!
We’ve got the barley wine. We’ve got the Benriach whisky that was in that cask. We’ve got other tasty Benriach whiskies. We say it’s time to drink!
